The Sun, our Father! Soul of Life and Light,
Love and play freely, sacred in thy sight! -A.C. The Book of ThothA few accepted facts related to this path
The 30th path (The Sun) leads from Hod to Yesod.
Hod is the 8th path and is called the Absolute or Perfect Intelligence
Yesod is the 9th path and is called the Pure or Clear intelligence
The 30th path is called the Collecting intelligence
Hod is related to Mercury, the mind, Hermes, and Thoth
Yesod is related to the Moon, Diana, and is the magical link between matter and mind. It is what purifies all the influences from the other 8 sephirot before their manifestation in Malkuth, the world of Action.
That puts ר right between the mind and that which purifies the emanations from the other 8 sephirot... interestingly 8 is the number of Hod.
While in the mindset of The path of the Sun, the influence of its collecting intelligence led to some insights about the other paths, especially its direct opposite צ The Star. צ means fishhook but its also that which hooks. цеплять (tzeplyat') (rus) to hook. the root of this word is цепь (tzep') which means chain. It refers to the connecting or unifying element in any creation.
ר is a lot like ק without the stem. Even though it's more like ל, its proximity to ר is more telling.
as ר follow ק it implies the triumph of rational thought, ego, persona over the superstition, witchcraft, and heathen savagery implied by the moon card, associated with ק.
the feeling of rejuvination resulting from the realization of error. I want to say the error which originated in ק because error is associated with that path.
Raising children puts one face to face with the above. Coming face to face with the Hideous subhuman element ק that the toddler and infant bastards display can cause one's own Hideous subhuman side to come out. The realization how unnecessary it was, and the acceptance of the situation, with a renewed sense of determination to take a different approach is a blissful feeling, ר and a classical description of The Sun tarot.
